Ahwatukee Board of Management
Community Involvement
ABM is involved with various groups and organizations throughout our
community.
- We annually participate in the Ahwatukee/Foothills Chamber of
Commerce 4th of July Fireworks show. For years, ABM hosted this event,
before it outgrew our park. Currently, our staff chairs committees for
grounds, security, lighting, and equipment for the event. Employees attend planning meetings for
the show and volunteer their time to help make the show an annual success.
- ABM aids the Mountain Pointe High School Lionhearts Marching Band by
helping with the transportation of band equipment to Friday night football games
and numerous band field shows. ABM's own Kelly Henning, was one of the Drum Majors for
the 6th Place Lionhearts at the 2005 Fiesta Bowl National Band Championship
at Bank One Ballpark. Look for our banner at the home football
games and at many band competitions.

- ABM has supported the Ahwatukee Little League for many years. We
dedicate our field to them for the spring baseball season including opening
and closing ceremonies. Employees donate time and materials to needed
to build safety equipment for use in the batting cage and on the field. Our
employees have volunteered as Directors on their Board. In addition we
have partnered with the Little League to build the concession stand located
next to the ball field.
